Brighten A Heart™ delivers thoughtfully curated comfort care totes that bring warmth, dignity, and human connection to people experiencing illness, recovery, or extended care. Each tote is assembled with intention, blending creativity and compassion with guidance inspired by respected healthcare research. Each tote also includes a small piece of art created by a child, teen, or adult volunteer, a gentle reminder that someone took the time to care.

Our mission supports patients and residents across several tiers of care

Each comfort care tote is designed to be hypoallergenic, fragrance free, and hospital safe, filled with meaningful items that bring ease during hard moments. Contents may vary by care setting and patient needs, guided by each facility’s protocols and unit requirements. Every tote also includes a 6 × 6 piece of artwork created by someone in the community, and we keep each delivery easy for healthcare staff to distribute, low waste, and aligned with facility guidelines.

Hospital Units

Including oncology, cardiovascular, orthopedic, surgical recovery, and pediatric departments, where patients may experience long stays or limited visitors.
